The house in Montauroux is nestled in the woods that surround Lac de St Cassien on the outskirts of Montauroux. The environs of the lake offer visitors a multitude of activities from hiking, cycling and horse riding to sailing, canoeing or a more leisurely cruise on a pedalo. It is a traditional stone bastide, with some parts dating back over 400 years and has been sympathetically renovated to a high standard using local terracotta tile flooring throughout, keeping all roof beams in situ, giving a lovely authentic rural ambiance to the home.
Accommodation is extensive, consisting of 5 double bedrooms, 2 en suite bathrooms and one family bathroom. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, which includes an authentic stone bread oven as well as the usual facilities to ensure catering for up to 10 is possible. The house easily adapts tp becoming a smaller 3 bedroom one should guest numbers be less.
The out door kitchen is extremly well appointed; with its stone pizza oven, fridge, cooker, and large BBQ grill. The garden is fully enclosed, making it suitable for children and has, as its focus, a 12m x 5m swimming pool.
